Professionals Abroad!

Extremely successful since its 1998 debut, Professionals Abroad! Is especially designed for professionals and students interested in acquiring functional fluency in Spanish and learning about Mexican culture.  The study tour, sponsored by Milwaukee Area Technical College, will take you to Cuernavaca, Mexico, Located 50 miles south of Mexico City.  Known as the “Land of Eternal Spring,” it has been one of the principal vacation centers of Central Mexico since prehistoric times due to its temperate year-round climate, prevailing sunshine, and abundance of flowering trees and bushes.  In Cuernavaca, you will be immersed in the Mexican culture and language, attend the Cuauhnáhuac Language Institute, live with a carefully selected middle-class Mexican family, and participate in optional afternoon excursions to cultural sites.

Whatever your range of Spanish abilities, from beginning to advanced levels,  you will have a program specifically tailored to your needs and abilities.  Intensive Spanish classes, cultural seminars, special interest classes, homestay and optional excursions, all work together to give you practical knowledge that you can take immediately into the classroom and workplace.  You will have the opportunity to experience some of the most interesting sites in Mexico and will delight in learning the most Spanish in the shortest time possible.

A variety of credit options exist for those interested.  Contact Debbie Esparza at 414-297-7346.
